Catherine & I flew from Cape Town last week, landing in Athens on 13 May and had 3 marathon days of tidying, provisioning and getting LADY ROSLYN ready for departure.
We set off for Cape Sounion on 15 May and have had a fabulous week meandering out into the Cyclades. We have no set plans other than to be in Paros (weather permitting) on 3 June to collect family and friends, who will be with us for 2 weeks.
We have been at anchor every night so far and have spent 2 nights in Sand Bar Bay on Kithnos (enjoying the natural hot spring rockpool right on the beach), a night in Ayios Stefanos on the west coast of Kithnos (with great trail running along the goat tracks on the mountainside), a night in Livadi on Serifos (with a hike up a couple of thousand stairs to the Chora - old town - on the hill above the bay) and tonight in Ganema Bay on the south coast of Serifos.
It feels fantastic to be back onboard and we are looking forward to everything this season has to offer.
