Photo of the Day #26

In settled weather, the west coast of Zakynthos is majestic. Cliffs towering above and cobalt blue water below.

We spent the entire day exploring the coast. At sunrise we arrived at Shipwreck Beach and had it all to ourselves for almost an hour. The rest of the day was spent slowly motoring past enormous cliffs which plunge into the sea and tucking into tiny coves that interested us.

Today's Photo of the Day is not of Shipwreck Beach, one of the most photographed and popular beaches in Greece, but a tiny spiral shaped cove that we carefully manoeuvred into. We felt very small when measuring ourselves and Lady Roslyn against the vertical walls of the cliffs rising above us.

So much to see. So little time. We'll be back, that's for sure.
