Just south of Fiskardo on Kefalonia is this beautiful little bay lined with cypress trees on one side and scrub and bushes on the other.
While everyone else was charging in to Fiskardo and getting their anchors in a knot, we had this bay to ourselves. At dusk, around 100 goats, all with different sized bells around their necks were herded by a collie dog along the rocks at the shoreline from up on the mountainside. The melodic sound of all the bells ringing was like a natural sunset symphony.
We loved it so much that we spent 2 nights here.
