Astipalea is far from neighbouring islands - our next stop Kos town was 7 hours away - but it is an island well worth visiting. There are many lovely anchorages and coves to tuck into, particularly along the southern coast. The well protected bay you see in the attached images is called Ormos Agrilithi, situated on the south east coast. It feels very remote and we were the only yacht anchored there. There is a small church and what looks like the remains of an old pottery fac
Today's post comes from the Little Cyclades and once again the trash was collected from what we believe is the best anchorage on the island. Anyone visiting Skhinousa and looking for an anchorage with few signs of human settlement - no houses, churches, roads, lights or power lines, will love this bay. We continued a short distance offshore to avoid the wind shadow of the island and then gybed and set course for Sifnos. The wind angle was perfect at around 70 degrees from our port side. The sea state was
On the 19th June we sailed from Molat, down the Dugi Otok Channel, to Telascica National Park in Croatia. Once underway, we hoisted our beautiful Wingaker "Lady in Red" and enjoyed nearly 4 hours of flat water sailing with warm breezes and Lady Roslyn gliding effortlessly downwind at between 7 and 10 knots. A day like this is guaranteed to put a smile on your face. This short video clip was shot in one single pan using our DJI Phantom 4 Pro drone. #LadyRoslyn #Sailing #Catama
