If you read sailing magazines, as I do, you will be very familiar with the many articles written about grand adventures in the Pacific, the Caribbean and other exotic locations around the globe. But what about adventures closer to home, in the Mediterranean, where "Lady Roslyn" is currently located?

If you have already read our blog post "Wishing for a Wingaker" from September 12th 2016 you will know that we tested a Wingaker sail during a trip we made from Northern Italy to Montenegro and back during May of this year.

I first met Lothar Weber, the manufacturer of "Wingaker" sails, in October 2014 when he had flown from Salzburg in Austria to Cape Town to assist in the delivery of a new Leopard 48 from Cape Town to the Caribbean. On a breezy day in Table Bay we took "Cataya" out for a test sail and I was introduced to a Wingaker sail for the first time. It was love at first sight.
